Lounge seating system provides all round cabin comfort
The unique lounge seating system ensures that passengers in the rear enjoy the same high level comfort as a luxury limousine. The new and generous distribution of space comes as a standard feature for top "Innovation" model. For a mere 295 Euro customers purchasing the Edition and Sport variants can also enjoy the benefits of the vast and flexible cabin space. With just a few movements, the three separate seats in the second row can easily be turned into two seats, giving passengers a lot more legroom and space around the shoulders. The third seat which has been folded away doubles up as a comfortable armrest for passengers sitting on the outside.
Just in time for its sales debut, the Opel Zafira Tourer in its 2.0 CDTI Common Rail Turbo Diesel Edition is available in three performance categories: 81 kW/110hp, 96 kW/130 hp and 121 kW/165 hp as a reworked and more powerful engine. In addition, two very efficient 1.4 Liter turbo gasoline variants with 88 kW/120hp and 85kW/115hp will be available. Apart from the most basic gasoline and diesel models, all others are equipped with the fuel-saving Start/Stop technology. For example, the 2.0 CDTI ecoFLEX Zafira Tourer (starting at 26.805 Euro) with its 96kW/130 hp engine only consumes 4.5 Liters of diesel on a journey of 100 kilometers (119 g/km CO2). This makes it one of the most efficient and most environmentally-friendly compact monocabs.
The driver assistance system is a major innovation in the new Zafira Tourer and a raft of new safety-orientated technologies on board are equally innovative. For example, there are assistance systems in place such as: radar-based adaptive cruise control, intelligent light ranging (ILR), traffic sign recognition, side blind spot alert, collision imminent braking and the advanced park assist. The new driver assistance systems ensure a relaxing, comfortable and safe driving experience. The second generation of the multi-award winning front-eye camera (800 Euro) is the backbone of all of these new systems. The combination of the frontal Opel eye camera and radar built into the radiator grille (1.300 Euro).
The second generation of the fully integrated and exclusive FlexFix bicycle carrying system is also available for a further 790 Euro. FlexFix is now more easy to use than ever and offers a range of new functions. With an additional adaptor (199 Euro) up to four bicycles can be transported at a time.
