- 2010 Chicago Auto Show
Maybe it's a sign of the times, but even the mighty Chicago Auto Show had to take a step backwards. For the first time in recent memory, the show actually shrank in square footage, largely due to cutbacks in the industry. For example, Chrysler's usual sprawling exhibit is now a smaller and more focused display, although show goers will be relieved that there is still opportunity for a Jeep ride through an obstacle course. Product introductions were sparse. The most significant reveal was a concept preview of Honda's popular Odyssey. Ford showed a reworked Edge that has advanced electronic instrumentation and bolder front styling. Other reveals included an updated Toyota Avalon and a high-end variant of the BMW 7-Series.
