The stunning GR-1 is a second concept based on the chassis developed for the Cobra concept shown in January 2004. The chassis for the two concepts borrow heavily from the production Ford GT parts bin. The suspension, brakes, transaxle and a large number of structural elements are used with little or no modification. Power is supplied by normally aspirated 6.4L V10 that produces 605 hp. The GR-1 concept may see production as a successor to the Ford GT after its limited model run completes.
