- The new mid-sized Borrego is a body-on-frame SUV with V6 and optional V8 power capable of towing up to 7500 pounds. The 4.6L V8 is the first V8 for Kia. Three rows of seats accommodate up to seven passengers.
Updated Models
- 2009 Kia Optima
- The 2009 Optima wears updated front and rear styling. The overall length is about 2 inches longer. A new 2.4-liter four cylinder engine produces 175-bhp an increase of 13-bhp. The output of the 2.7L V6 increases to 190-bhp. On the inside, the Optima features modest updates to the instrumentation and center console materials. A new SX sport model adds a sport-tuned suspension, fog lights and 17-inch wheels.
