Nissan has introduced a succesful new sub-compact car to the US market. The Versa is sold in both 5-door and sedan forms and slots below the compact Sentra sedan. All Versas are powered by a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine rated at 120+ hp and 125+ lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is optional.
In December 2010, Nissan made power windows and door locks standard on all model and changed the Power Plus package to Plus reflect this.
