The Rogue is the first compact SUV (crossover) introduced by Nissan in the USA. Available in "S" and "SL" trim levels, both Rogue models are equipped with a 170-bhp 2.5L I-4. Nissan's Xtronic CVT, with optional paddle shifters, sends power to the front wheels or an optional AWD system. ABS, traction control, VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control), and 4-wheel disc brakes are standard. Steel 16-inch wheels with 215/70R16 tires are standard, but can be substituted with 17-inch alloy wheels and 225/60R17 tires. Options include a 7-speaker Bose audio system with MP3 capability, heated leather seats, cargo organizer, roof rail system, and xenon HID headlights.
The Rogue receives a number of mid-cycle changes for 2011. Exterior changes include a new front fascia, grille, rear spoiler, side moldings and accent trim. The big change inside is a new center cluster. Option package changes and new colors round out the changes.
